Unforgettable! That is the only word which can be used to describe  a man whose genuine compassion for others is just so big. I vividly recall our van breaking down in New Jersey. Charles selflessly drove to NJ and personally towed our van to NY with his own car! His kindness didn't stop there! He then used several days of his time to perform a major mechanical overhaul. To this day we remain grateful for being a part of your family. Not just because of this incident but because whether in Virginia or New York, via telephone or physical contact, your family has always welcomed our family unit into your hearts and home unconditionally. We love and appreciate you. Although we will miss seeing Charles' smile and hearing his word, "lover", he will always be fondly remembered. We celebrate Charles' life and hold tight to the lessons he has taught. May you both be strengthened by the power of God's love!
